据我所知,目前国内大部分出境游的游客,他们选择的范围往往局限于旅行社的推荐和介绍,而那些地方很多都已经耳熟能详,缺乏新意。这次评选活动应该会把很多国外的好地方广泛深入地介绍到中国来,让国人更好的了解国外的名胜美地,为旅游爱好者的出行大大拓展选择的范围和思路。
南非是我最喜欢的一个地方,我认为也是“外国最值得中国人去的地方”。在那里,人与大自然几乎就是零距离接触,没有任何污染,成群的斑马、羚羊从你身边走过,神态悠闲；当地朋友家房前房后都经常会有蹦来蹦去的猴子,大胆地过来跟你要吃的；还有各种五颜六色罕见的鸟类、肥肥的野鸡、笨重的大乌龟、漂亮的变色龙……它们都自然地和人类共处一地,非常融洽和谐。生活在这里没有那么多压力和浮躁的欲望,能获得一种宁静、平和、淡泊的心境。不过最终我们还是不得不回到北京,回到都市中去,也许正是因为如此,才显现出大自然对于人类的弥足珍贵。(本报记者崔静)

As far as I know, up till now, most Chinese visitors going abroad often cast their eyes on recommendation and introductions of travel agencies in searching for travel destinations. While those places are frequently heard and can be repeated in detail by Chinese travelers, they are also short of new enlightenment. Your selection activity should help introduce more fine scenic spots in foreign countries to the Chinese people, in a bid to let we Chinese know those scenic spots and historical sites better. Thus, the travelers’ selection scope and thinking can be greatly expanded.
South Africa is one of countries I like the best. There, people can get in touch with the nature completely: No pollution is seen, and droves of zebras and bushbucks walk by your side leisurely. I have friends who live in local houses, around which smart monkeys often come over asking for food from us. There are also various colorful birds, fat pheasants, big and heavy tortoises and beautiful chameleons, and they coexist with the human beings quite well. You cannot feel any pressure and do not have much impulsive desires while living there. Instead, all you can get is a mood full of peace and gentleness. However, we have to come back to Beijing and this reminds me of the fact that nature is so precious to us human beings.(编译：朱小茵)
